On a glorious June day, 8 boys from Year 3 and 4 ventured to Cam Cricket Club to take part in the district cricket tournament. 

Facing teams from Dursley Primary, North Nibley and Cam Hopton, the team showed great prowess when batting and also fielding. 

Some big hitting and excellent running between the wickets meant that the team made very challenging totals and this, combined with some accurate bowling and enthusiastic fielding meant that the team won all 5 of their matches comfortably. 

Jacob C was chosen by the umpires for one of their 'Champagne Moments' for his excellent batting and bowling, but the victory was underpinned by great teamwork, with every player contributing to the victory.

We're incredibly proud of this achievement and of all of the boys who took part. Well done!
