As part of our drive to raise the profile of reading, children and staff alike dressed up as their favourite book characters on World Book Day.

We had a few Harry Potters, some Paddington Bears, multiple princesses and even a couple of Wimpy Kids too! 

Throughout the day, Mrs Beasley rang the bell at which point everyone - no matter what they were doing - had to drop everything and read! 

At the end of the day, the children were able to buy some new reading books at the book fair or collect those which they had pre-ordered. 

It was amazing to see so many people dressed up and we all had a great day.
