For a number of years, a faded and rusty shipping container lived by the bike shed, beside the school car park. It was the home for a lot of PE equipment but it had become very rusty and needed replacing. Whilst doing this, we decided to purchase a second container to provide additional storage.

On the first day of the summer holidays, a lorry arrived on site to collect the old container. After a prolonged wait for the new containers, we were finally given a delivery date. As it happened, it was the wettest day of the year!

With a great deal of skill, the driver lifted the two new containers into place beside our new building and handed us the keys.

These containers will mean that we have safe, secure and dry storage for our PE kit, our play equipment and also our Forest School kit. They will no doubt serve us well for many years to come and reflect our ongoing drive to improve the provision for our children now and in the future.
