Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club is our school-based provision that provides children with a healthy meal and a welcoming start to the school day. Beyond just offering breakfast, it creates a calm, structured environment where children can socialise, relax, and prepare for learning.
- Breakfast Club runs every day from 7.45am
- It is free for Ever6 Children. Check if you are eligible, at www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/freeschoolmeals
- To book, simply book in via ParentPay
For primary school children, attending Breakfast Club can have a range of benefits. Eating a nutritious breakfast improves concentration, energy levels, and overall physical health, ensuring children are ready to engage in lessons. It also helps develop healthy eating habits that can have long-term positive effects.
Breakfast Club also supports children’s mental health and emotional wellbeing. The relaxed, friendly environment allows children to build positive relationships with peers and adults, fostering a sense of belonging and community. For some children, it provides a safe, supportive space before the school day begins, reducing anxiety or stress, especially for those who may face challenges at home.
Participation encourages social skills such as communication, cooperation, and turn-taking. It also helps children feel more confident, settled, and ready to learn. Breakfast Club promotes wellbeing, emotional security, and social development while supporting learning. It is a simple yet highly effective way to help children start the day happy, healthy, and focused.
