School Clubs

School clubs, such as sports, art, yoga, or board games, offer primary school children enriching opportunities to explore interests, develop new skills, and build friendships outside the regular classroom. These clubs provide a safe, structured, and enjoyable environment where children can try activities at their own pace, fostering curiosity and creativity.

Participation in school clubs supports mental health and wellbeing in multiple ways. Physical activities like sports and yoga help children stay active, improve coordination, and release energy, which can reduce stress, improve mood, and enhance focus in lessons. Creative clubs, such as art or music, offer children a way to express emotions, develop confidence, and build self-esteem. Strategy-based clubs like board games encourage problem-solving, teamwork, and patience, helping children learn social and emotional skills in a fun, relaxed setting.

School clubs also provide a sense of belonging and community, allowing children to connect with peers who share similar interests. This fosters friendships, social confidence, and emotional support. For children who may find classroom learning challenging or stressful, clubs offer a positive space where they can succeed, feel valued, and enjoy personal achievement.

We offer a range of clubs in response to children's interests. Each term, the children are invited to collaborate with the School Club Co-ordinator to decide on the clubs that will be available the following term. All clubs are free, and where needed, uniform/kit is provided making our clubs accessible to all. Just some of the clubs that have run include
