Reading at home

Reading at home

In Year 2, we read everyday at school both independently and with an adult.

 

While we do set homework tasks to complete, we would like you to prioritise reading with your child for at least 10 minutes each day. 

 

Please read books at least twice to further support the fluency and their understanding of what they have.

 

Your child's books and reading records will be handed in at the start of the day to be changed flexibly depending on the amount your child has read.
