We all had a great time with two ladies from Warburton's. The children made bread, watched how bread is made in the huge bakery and tasted a few different types of bread. They felt like real bakers!

Today was the day! The houses burnt like rotten sticks!! The children were so excited.
The children enjoyed making houses for our new topic, Fire! Fire! to replicate Pudding Lane where the Great Fire of London started. An exciting start to the new term.
Summer Term 5. Well, we are now over half way through the year! Where has that gone? Here are the documents for this term; home learning includes work on our history topic, Fire! Fire! and work related to our new text, The Disgusting Sandwich.
We had an interesting walk to the fire station to compare modern engines to what they used back in 1666!
What a day! The whole school came together today to dress up as their favourite character from a book. We also enjoyed a visit from Freshwater Theatre Company.
The Year 2 children had a great day at Forest Green football club learning new skills, cooking, finding out about foods, having a tour of the grounds and finishing with a photo with the first team! What a day!
A special week at school making puppets for engineering week (D and T). The children were very proud of their results.
Snow fell on Cam Everlands School today! The children had a brilliant day playing in the 'snow' when Snow Business from Stroud came to visit. They had a wonderful time, in fact they said, 'awesome', 'best day ever', this is so cool!'

We have had a brilliant arts week this week. First week back too! Year 2 were finding out about Leonardo da Vinci and trying to recreate work like his! What fantastic artists we have in Year 2!
Christmas with Year 2! An exciting end to the term.Making Rudolph pictures outside then photographing them ready for this years Christmas cards. In science each group had the challenge of lighting up the Christmas tree. They were very successful! On the last day of term we all enjoyed the pantomine - The Wizard of Oz! Brilliant!
