Science discovery... Natural or man-made? We were thinking about whether a variety of materials were natural or man-made and what this meant about how they are produced. We started with some object cards including a chair and a paperclip and worked as a team to discuss and sort them into groups of ‘natural’ or ‘man-made’ based on the material they were made from. We then went outside and worked in 2 teams ‘natural’ and ‘man-made’ to find materials that we could make a collage out of. We decided on a ‘n’ for the natural team and a ‘m’ for the man-made team!
